National Make A Difference Day

One of the things most often noted in the Santa Clarita Valley is the community’s support for nonprofits.

On Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, volunteers from across the country will unite for Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide. Since 1992, volunteers and communities have come together on Make A Difference Day with a single purpose: to improve the lives of others.

With nearly 100 nonprofit community and service organizations, Santa Clarita prospers from an abundance of resources available to residents. Yet to fulfill their service mission, many organizations run on shoe-string budgets, volunteer labor or both. Won’t you consider lending a helping hand? Discover more at //
