The 2021 Porsche 911 is offered this year with an optional programmable GPS capability that can raise the car's nose when needed. The standard baseline 911 will be offered with upgrades commonly known to the Turbo and Turbo S variants, such as the 930 leather interior package and lightweight insulated glass for weight and noise reduction. The 911 and 911 S model comes standard with rear-wheel drive, the option for all-wheel drive high performance, a 10.9-inch touchscreen display, and Wi-Fi hotspot and Apple CarPlay capabilities; however, Android Auto is not currently offered. Horsepower varies between models. The 911 boasts a rear-mounted twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six-cylinder engine. While the base model has 379 horsepower and 331lb-ft of torque, the S model pushes 443 horses and 390 lb-ft with a seven-speed manual transmission offered instead of the automatic eight-speed transmission, which is known to be very quick in other 911 Carrera models. No matter the weather conditions, the 911 has great traction and acceleration; especially when its launch control capabilities are used properly.
Customization options include but are not limited to the Sports Seats Plus, which would provide you with more supportive driver and passenger front seating, and the Sport Chrono package, which comes with a digital tire-temperature gauge for the dash display, additional driving modes, launch control and more. The Carrera 911s interior includes a switch to mostly digital displays, two high end surround sound systems, and a large cup holder in the center console, a first for the 911. While the 911 can theoretically fit up to 4 people, the rear passenger seats remain as futile as the first 911 released in the mid-1960s.
